Accessibility

Illuminate aims to be as accesible as possible. We know that the more information we give you about the festival the easier it is for you to plan your visit. Below is some useful information to help you enjoy this years festival.

Parking

We are trying to do our bit for the environment by reducing the festivals carbon footprint. Working with Plymouth Citybus we are encouraging attendees to the festival to make sure of our illuminate park and ride services. For more information about accesabilty at Plymouth Citybus visit: www.plymouthbus.co.uk/contact-us/accessibility/

Toilets
We have various accesible toilets around the festival site. Download our app too access our map or pick up a printed programme upon arrival to the festival.

Download our Woov app here.

Information points
We will have volunteers stationed at the installations and information points with accurate information to help
you to enjoy the event.

Heritage locations

Whilst we work to ensure the festival is fully accessible to all, in some locations we are limited by the heritage buildings and land in which Illuminate is situated.  The listed buildings and historic locations that host the festival have certain constraints which unfortunately we cannot avoid or adapt.

Where possible we have improved accessibility and access by ensuring there is lift access and steward support, however please be aware that our festival centre and additional locations have uneven ground and narrow steps which may limit access to wheel chairs and prams.
For further information on access please message the illuminate facebook page here. Or whilst at the festival please find a volunteer who will be happy to help.
